Booking Policy

Allergy Alert Test:

All new colour clients are required to attend a consultation appointment, during which we will perform an Allergy Alert Test and discuss your hair goals. This must be done at least 48 hours before any colouring services.

If you are an existing client but have not had your hair coloured by us in the last six months, please arrange to visit for an updated Allergy Alert Test at least 48 hours before your colouring service.

This policy is in place to ensure your safety and to comply with manufacturers’ instructions as required by our insurance. Please note that waivers cannot be accepted in lieu of an Allergy Alert Test, as doing so would invalidate our insurance in the unlikely event of an issue.

Deposits:

A 50% deposit is required to secure all appointments. This includes a £5 non-refundable booking fee. The deposit is transferable or refundable (minus the booking fee) if sufficient notice is given.

Colour Cancellation & Rescheduling:

A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required for cancelling or rescheduling colour appointments to qualify for a full refund of the deposit or transfer to another date.

If less than 72 hours’ notice is provided, we will make every effort to fill the appointment. However, if the appointment cannot be filled, the deposit will be retained in full.

We ask for 72 hours’ notice for colour cancellations to allow sufficient time to perform an Allergy Alert Test for any new clients who may wish to take the cancellation slot.

Cutting/styling Cancellation & Rescheduling:

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations to qualify for a full refund of the deposit or transfer to another date. If less than 48 hours’ notice is provided, every effort will be made to fill the appointment. If the appointment cannot be filled, the deposit will be retained in full.

Late Arrivals:

If a client arrives more than 10 minutes late, the appointment may need to be cancelled to avoid delays for the next client or may be limited to a reduced service. In either case, the full cost of the originally booked appointment will still apply.

Payments:

Card payments are preferred. As cash is not kept on the premises, clients wishing to pay by cash should bring the exact amount.

Client Responsibilities:

Clients are required to disclose any known allergies that may impact the service. Please be aware that certain medical conditions may affect the outcome of colouring services.

Service Guarantee and Refund Policy

We value your satisfaction and strive to deliver exceptional results. However, refunds will not be provided for services once they have been rendered. You are paying for our time, expertise, products, and other expenses required to deliver your service.

If the final result does not align with what was agreed upon during the consultation, clients are encouraged to contact us within 7 days of their appointment to discuss their concerns. If appropriate, and at our discretion, a complimentary service may be offered to address the issue.

Please note: if aftercare advice has not been followed, the guarantee does not apply, and a complimentary service will not be offered.

Clothing:

Please wear clothing you are not overly concerned about for your appointment. While we take every precaution to minimise the risk of staining by providing a cape, towel, and plastic bib, occasional accidents can happen. In the event of colour or water coming into contact with your clothing, we regret that we cannot accept responsibility for any damages.

Guests:

Clients are kindly requested not to bring additional guests to their appointment unless it is essential for their attendance. Due to limited space, the waiting area is reserved exclusively for clients with appointments. Unfortunately, children cannot be accommodated.

Salon Etiquette:

We strive to maintain a respectful and welcoming environment for all clients. Any conversations or behaviours that may be deemed offensive, hateful, or inflammatory will not be tolerated.

Hair Extensions:

Hair extensions can react differently to colour compared to your natural hair due to the high levels of processing during manufacturing. As we do not offer extension services, we are unable to colour extensions that have been applied elsewhere.

If you would like us to carry out your colour service, please ensure you book your appointment before having extensions fitted. This ensures the best results and maintains the quality of your extensions.
